R33 Broken Manifold Studs?

does any one know how much it would be to fix a couple of broken manifold studs in my r33 skyline? and where to go in brisbane to do it? thanks

do u have access to an easy out?

drill into the stud. insert an easy out tool which has a reverse thread.. and voila.

broke a few studs on mine when installing a h/m manifold.

While you have it all apart I wouldnt replace just a couple id do them all as the other ones will break once you put it back together most likely anyway,to buy all the studs and nuts gasket etc etc cost me around $220 from Nissan from memory, most workshops I went to wanted anywhere between $400 - $800 to remove the broken studs and install all the new ones, I ended up paying a mate $100 to do it for me lol.

$600-$700 id imagine would be the price

1. Because its turbo/manifold off so its a bit of labour

2. You would be wise to change all the studs at once, and inevitably you will have a few more broken off as thats how it works really.

If you dont do them all at once, 2 months later its highly possible you'll have more broken ones

My cars engine had one stud that failed, removed exhaust manifold to replace it and when putting manifold back

on and retorqueing, it snapped studs no 6, 7.

I agree with changing all of the studs, coil inserts, spring washers, etc.
