need your help with intake pipe!!

Well, my hks BOV is basically staying open, which means my car is a shit to drive... just one massive boost leak.

As you can see from pic, its not on factory position, but in front intake piping (from IC to cross over pipe).

I have ordered a new BOV, but wont be here for a few weeks... does anyone have a stock bit of piping I can borrow?? or even an old bov that will fit into the current pos.

sorry i dont have 1, but just wondering why it is staying open? does it just need some lube, like WD40? or is it more of a permanent problem?

just sold mine, but bro just get a piece of sheet metal and block the BOV's port, that will stop it driving shit and give that nice flutter noise

um, no idea why it stays open, but its not shutting now.. i attacked with a hammer and screw driver

DJ - i did that with some really thick plastic I got... only thing is its too damn hard to cut a perfect circle with something so thick, so its still leaking a lil bit.

not plastic lol, sheet metal !!easy to cut n shape and its strong as.. i got my stock BOPV blocked with the stuff so it looks like my stoock BOV is still working but really itrs blocked

yeh, thats how my stock BOV is... um, no scrap sheet metal lying around here... hmm, will have to keep thinking.

btw, this plastic is really strong

i doesnt have to be cut perfectly. just cut a square, mark on it where to drill, then use the gasket to make it seal well. could even to use heaps of exhaust cement. thats basically what i did to block off my external gate to get rwc and rego.

too pov to pay that much, so i asked the guy... is there anyway i can buy half of this?

hahaha... i remember the days at dimmeys when if i was hungry and they had blocks of cadbury chocolates i'd open them and tell the manager i was writing up some damaged stock, they then let us eat the damaged stuff
