SKY 34
eng cert does not come from workshops, you have to go to the pit and get a list of approved engineers. The ones I had, he is a retired mechanical engineer. he looked at the Australian standards for the vehicle and compare it with what you have. he'll then make a report to be submitted to the pits. They have nothing to do with garages as they are meant to me impartial third party Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/216013-engineers-cert/#findComment-3816310 Share on other sites

SKY 34
pit, vehicle inspection centre I think its named that way because of the hole underneath to inspect the underside of the car. They do it this way in W.A not sure in melb. I don't recomend getting eng cert unless you got yellow sticker.. its quite expensive Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/216013-engineers-cert/#findComment-3816448 Share on other sites

It was expensive, but they were extremely reasonable about the modifications. You need an engineers as but a part of compliance $1200 is normal for compliance non DIY (things like AC gas, seat belt are other things that need doing etc) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/216013-engineers-cert/#findComment-3819206 Share on other sites
