How U Brace Ur Air-pod Filter On R33?

I put in a HKS air pod filter in my R33, but the thing is, its just floating about now. I never got pulled over by coppers or got a yellow sticker. just wanna b safe. Wat do you guys do to hold the pod down? cable ties? is there a custom brace i can buy? WAT DO I DO??

my car came with a hks mushroom pod from japan, and it was secured by two metal braces that were bent at the end so it could use the factory holes meant for the airbox to hold the pod in place. Would be easy to d.i.y your own ones with some sheet metal

Cable ties would be a good band aid fix but I doubt it would impress the cops.

I got a metal brace from repco for about $6 and bent to fit as stated above.. Still moves but only a tiny bit...

He said he has a pod. Cops wont like that period. Cable ties, metal brackets, boxed or unboxed, your still gonna get defected.

dont know about in WA but in qld the pod only has to be secure... run down to bunnings and grab some 8mm drilled metal strips, or just one for that matter, cut it to the length u need with some tin snips or the likes, drill out the holes at either end to about 10mm and you should be able to fit it from the pod to the factory airbox bolt locations with the factory bolts, simple, take you 10mins if that and it holds pretty strong

Just make a bracket. Cut a 100mm wide strip of tin sheet, bend it in half at 90* or something and drill some holes in it
