Hello

I live in Japan.

I have a R32 GTS-T with a RB20 and I am putting the RB 25 on and intercooler. About to buy a HKS not too big intercooler and piping but I had a idea I want to try.

My friend has a R33 SMIC and I was going to put that on. It would keep me from having to cut my front bumper and since I have a RB25 turbo I thinking it should be better than the stock R32 intercooler.

Any thoughts on this?

Also, I was going to leave the HKS acculator on the RB25 turbo(came with it) and see how it works.

Is this good? Will this work and still be a good set up? I would really like to spend the extra money on boost controller and other necessary things.

Help please

You will find that the R32 and R33 SMIC will be just as cruddy as each other. They are the same dimensions. The R34 SMIC is considered an upgrade because it is slightly more efficient than the previous models.

The HKS actuator will work fine as long as it still operates as it should.

OK

Well will get a FMIC The HKS one I can get is 350.00 with all of the pipes except for the long one which goes over the top of the engine. I have been looking for pipes but cant find any. My friend has a smaller FMIC that is good. He will sell it for 100.00 but I would still have to buy the piping for it. Are any one of these two options good or should I just buy a new set Greddy FMIC that has all of the piping?

Well wish I could find a R34 SMIC.

Help

unless you are good with you fabrication skills, i would just buy a complete kit that came with everything, that way there arent any headaches and you'll have everything you'll need

living in japn, you should have access to plenty of parts haha

R32s are being used alot here now so I think alot of the cheap parts are getting hard to find now. Looks like I am going to spend the 350 for a new kit. I can get help with fabrication, there is a DIY shop here where I work and the staff there said that they will help me with fabricating parts if I need too.

How starved will the turbo be if I connect it to my stock SMIC now until I can get a FMIC?
