I've purchased Sydneykid's S15 coilover kit last year and had it installed by Centreline at VIC in the middle of last year. Then months later, noises came from the less side of the suspension. I asked Chasers and they said it's 'normal'. However, I brought the car to Trutrack 2 weeks ago and they said there's shaft movement from the left shock.

Tried contacting SK on the forum-PM + thread post and mobile, but I can't get through to him. I'm sure there's some sort of warranty on these bilsteins.

Any idea? Or is sending them to Quadrant the best solution? Sadly, I don't think I have any "warranty card" from SK.

Hi Eron, not sure why you can't contact me, the mobile is on and the PM inbox has space. Obviously there is no problem with Bilstein warranty if it is needed.

Cheers

Gary

Can you please PM or SMS me the address to send the shocks to? I still havn't received it.

I SMS'd it within 5 minutes of your phone call and I have just PM'd it as well.

Cheers

Gary

    • Just something I found searching for more info on Emotion R, apparently the ECR33 Skyline GTS25t was either originally black, or there were two of them, the black one being the original demo car, then building a white one which was part of the 1997-onwards (to at least 2008!) Cockpit Tatebayashi Tokyo Auto Salon booth demo cars. It appears that Emotion R closed down in 2008 and was declared bankrupt in 2010: http://bank-db.com/hasan/208365. I used to love doing this 20 years ago on SAU and got a bit nostalgic for a moment... 😅

    • Even though I have some pretty good (brand) ratchet ringies, I avoid using them to break open tight bolts. A broken ratchet is very annoying.
