Where is fabcar? Is that the dealership on Albany Hwy?

Yeah went to see the GTR at the Perth motorshow on Tuesday thinking I could have a seat in it, but no go there :)

The barrier also sucked meaning you couldnt really get up close.

went yesterday and wasmost dissapointed with Nissan.

spoke to one of their sales /stand staff and they said this one was an aus spec gtr so i asked why is there still only a 180 k dash in it :)

they refused to speak to me any more

He probably thought you were crazy because none of them have 180km/h dashes. It's a Jap spec one and the speedo goes to 340km/h.

He was lying but that's life, the Nissan guys who are touring with this car are getting pissed off at everyone asking the same question but to everyone's defense they needs to stop lying and come out with some genuine details.

The silver is a nice colour at night but I like the other colours more. The silver also costs $3k more as an option. Probably $5k by the time we get it here.

I checked it out yesterday at the show. The car looked absolutely hot, so much better in real life than in pictures. But to be honest I was disappointed with the way they marketed it - I mean WA is the heart of the mining boom, with a lot of guys and girls young and old with oodles and oodles of spare cash. The GTR hasn't been on sale in Australia for years, so surely you'd think they'd be making a song and dance about in an attempt to net some new fans.

The marketing could be better. I feel that Nissan Australia marketing aren't geared up for something more than a Tiida type car and are struggling with this. It's nothing to do with WA it's Aus wide there is next to no marketing push.
