Description

The second game in Sega's popular series. It is similar to the first only there are more enemies and you can choose your path halfway into each of the three stages you choose. There are a total of four stages.

Game Introduction

You go through a total of three stages shooting anything that moves (except the hostages). There are three full stages that you can beat in any order and after you complete all three you fight the last boss on the fourth and final stage.

Game Play

Virtua City is in trouble again. Playing as one of the two heroic cops, you put your life on the line cleaning up the mess of scum in the city. This game is a little more challenging than the original since the stages are longer and there are tougher enemies to fight.

Scarcity in collections

Uncommon - There are 7 known instances of this game, of these, 6 of them are original dedicated machines, 0 of them are conversions in which game circuit boards have been placed in another game cabinet, and 1 of them are only circuit boards which a collector could put into a generic case if desired.

This game is an original dedicated machines and has a working coin mechanism, but is currently set to free play for home use. It accepts tokens and there are some included in the coin collection tray. The cabinet, guns and screen are in great condition and the game is played regularly, but the color on the screen is a bit blue, so the color would need a slight adjustment if you were a perfectionist! On the other hand, the current color doesn't affect the play.

The cabinet is massive and the screen is a 50 inch rear projection television made by Mitsubishi. This is all original apart for the guns, which are Recoil FX not the original ones. Comes with box of spares which includes spare guns (2), wiring, optical boards, manuals, all the keys (4), and the remote for the screen.

As this machine is HUGE it is strictly pick-up only. We got it here on the back of a F100, so you would need something of similar size or bigger. It does come apart, so it is possible to make more than one trip. You will also need to bring someone to help lift, as I have a broken wrist and can not help at present.

Pick-up is from Melton Victoria.

Looking for around $1000, but open to reasonable offers.

for some reason i still cant upload photos on this site..... they can be seen here Clicky Clicky for photos

For people wanting to know the dimensions of this unit they are as follows :

The first part is 800 x 940 x 920 mm

The second part is 2 x 1 x 1.2m

However the biggest part can be dismantled by separating the top and bottom, making the biggest part of the system being 1570 x 114 x 590mm
