DaGr81
ok 1st photo is the passengers side from under the car, the 2nd photo is a hole made just under the windscreen washer bottle, are these decent or do they need to be reinforced? R31Nismoid
Are you in Vic? I believe even if you aren't, ADR's state that on a car with AIRBAGs you cannot cut that section at all. No AIRBAG = no problem however, i had an engineer sign off on something very similar, only reason was i didnt have an airbag factory fitted to the car etc Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/217013-my-fmi-legal-or-not/#findComment-3832642 Share on other sites
(B1) MR_fanny
the person that done that did a really good job on it. looks stock and clean...not like the normal hack jobs you see. Paint your pipes black and i recon the average officer wouldn't even pick up on it. Just my 2 cents Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/217013-my-fmi-legal-or-not/#findComment-3841661 Share on other sites

NYTSKY
As long as you dont trim the reo bar for the core to fit,and dont trim or cut any structual part of the car ie: the rails you will be fine.If a copper says to you that the front clip(under the washer bottle) is structual he has no idea what he is on about. But then again he is the police and will probably fine you anyway, even if you had an engineers certificate. GeeTR
Iv seen many a non airbag car, engineered with a hole there (ACT) though it required a reinforcement ring, bracket etc. This means little though, talk to your engineer. Most wont charge you anywhere near $1000 each time.
