R32 Gtst Fuel Tank Full Of Rust

Hey,

Just wondering if anyone has ever had a custom made fuel tank to replace the standard one in an r32 skyline. Id rather not replace with standard due to costs of freight etc to central qld..

So any drawings made up or any recommended places up north...

yeah considering that, thay are 5L larger too (60L over gtst's 55L... as far as im aware...)

But freight will be a real killer

i used por-15 tank treatment thingy on my rusty tank - not skyline.

100 bux for a kit i think and that thing worked well, but if you can get a good 2nd hand tank why bother.

yeah sadly it's getting more common in 32 GTSTs now that they are nearly 20 years old. the nicest solution is to just fit a GTR tank which as mentioned above is plastic and doesn't suffer the problem (obviously!). it's probably better than going custom. and being plastic they are a bit safer too

why do u say better than going custom?? I have a mate who is a sheet metal worker going to come around and take some plans from it..

If anyone has some do's and dont's on how to make a tank please let me know. Also baffle design would be lovely... Im on google now searching

Pictures of inside custom tanks with baffles etc would be good cause id like to make it better than standard
