My New Ride - Delivered On Monday

Well it finally arrived and im stoked to have it in the driveway ( carpark ) finally! I know its not a Nissan but its awesome nevertheless.

Its a great drive, plenty of power and torque - 6 speed manual is great. its got heaps of room and will seat 4 adults comfortably.

Power delivery is linear, you can feel the urge around 3k and it really gets busy after that up to 7k. 4pot brembos have plenty of assist, fade is negligible, great pedal feel.

It'll be on its way to Oz ( fingers crossed without a hitch ) next year so for this year im just going to enjoy it.

The Fonz can also dust many cars 3 times the price - its no slouch. It'll see 0-100 in 5 or less seconds and carry the dog and all the gear for a camping trip, too. :laugh:

It looks practically like the Forester that Australia gets, which I really like. An STI version would be awesome.

I like its allround appeal. Its popular in Oz too afaik, so i shouldnt have too much trouble finding a home for it when the time comes.

Unfortunately for Oz, subaru decided not to bring this car in, so the only way to get your hands on one is via private import which i will be doing.

I dislike the way the front looks, but cool car man. Shouldve got an FD2 CTR, I know so many ppl willing to pay an arm and a leg for that

Alan, the car will be in Oz around this time next year. I have to make sure it gets there safely for whoever wants to have it next.

Its not the prettiest car around i agree but from the drivers seat that doesnt matter, does it? Its a wolf in sheep's clothing...with pink stickers!

We will see. Its too early to tell but the early bird gets the proverbial.

This car will be 1 of only 8 cars in the country next year - mine and another member of this board are 7 and 8.

I like those numbers.

lol, nah, like i said, too busy driving not enough time to get things uploaded.

I went out to Super Autobacs today to buy some gear. Mindblowing places they are... So much to drool over///

I bought a stack of care produce and a couple of little Sti souvenirs... carbon fiber keyring is sik - i tried bending that little f*ker but it wont flex...damn that stuff is strong.

I wonder how much the Sti brace is...
