Anyone got a standard R32 GTR ecu installed Nistune and run it in a R33 GTR?

I have been told you need to change O2 sensors to do this, just throwing it out there if anyone has done it? Dont know there might be more to it...?

Might be an option for those with R33 GTRs who cant wait... (I am thinking about it)

My tuner said me that he will tune my rb26 r32 without using any O2 sensor!

A car needs 02 sensors (narrowband) to have stichiometric afr (14.7) at close loop...

But I read also in this forum that we can map the close loop without using O2 sensors but I didn't understand in this topic if we have better economy with 02 close loop or with map close loop.

I thought 32 and 33 were interchangeable. we certainly swap them all the time without problems. standard and pfcs

Yeah the R32 ecu's EPROM can be removed from the board and a socket mount soldered in. You can then plug the Nissan emulator into the socket and tune then re-burn the EPROM. The R33 EPROM is unable to be removed from the main board so is not suitable for this modification.

^ because Nissan glued the EPROMs in on the 33, lol... otherwise ecus are identical.

IIRC the o2 sensors on the R33 are physically larger (therefore more accurate) but otherwise output is same(voltage/air flow) as the R32 o2
