Fitting A Spoiler.

Just got a S1 spoiler off an import half cut. It seems that to fit it, you have to drill three holes through the tail gate.

On in the centre for the location peg, but hardly seems necessary, and to actually bolt it down drill a hole each side where the rubber grommet is on the inside.

Anyone done this, and is it correct.

I had a 260RS wing fitted a few years ago. its just bolted on with 2 bolts, fairly simple.

I had to drill a hole each side under the plastic strip. I will post up exactly how tomorrow. With pics.

ah ok, does the standard wing fit where the plastic covers are? mine is just bolted directly into the tailgate, the covers are still there.
