and ebay!

justjap rebrand them to the JJR

not the same turbo, they are shit, don't touch them, seals are made of jelly, and they seem laggier(!?). Stick with genuine KKR.

What when are you 25 boys getting the kkr430's to spool?

Yeah, fk me not another post like yours ey? :)

1. HKS turbos are not $3000.

2. That makes them nowhere NEAR 1/3 the cost, most like 1/2.

3. The poor man pays twice. You see threads of people complaining their car is laggy, unresponsive, they cant get traction because power delivery is poor with only 230rwkw etc etc, and then look at the turbo (and other parts chosen)... its simply not going to get any better that what they have.

Yes its appropriate in performance for the price, but it pays to ensure the buyer knows what they are getting into before hand.

Not everyone researches before purchase (the 15hp ebay chip thread from last week is a perfect example of this)

I stand corrected, they're just under $2500 delivered IF you manage to get it through customs without them charging you GST and duties. If you don't, then you're getting damn close to $3k.A KKR 430 is $850, which is ever so slightly over 1/3 if you aren't charged customs, and well under 1/3 if you are (which technically you should be). You also get a local warrenty with the KKR.

You see plenty of posts complaining about plenty of things. You also see plenty of posts here saying they're fine, I'm happy with it. I'd hazard a guess that those who complain "it's laggy" are complaining because they expect their $850 turbo to perform like a $2500 turbo, which is just plain stupidity.

By the way, my post wasn't specifically directed at you, moreso the clowns who say "HKS GTRS" (see 5 posts into the thread) with no rhyme or reason behind it, like it's just a few extra bucks to go for the HKS. For the record, I own an HKS turbo.

From what i have read (was going to get a kkr) the better option is a high flow, bolts straight on and proven and easy to find.

i bought this one http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/35...-9b-t22706.html and am nothing but happy with it.

    • Plan on the day will be to park trackside. Depending on space availability we will try put a small shade tent and a few of the cars on top of the hill inside turn 3, this is an easy to get to parking area with views of Turn 2, Turn 3, Turn 4 and Turn 5 and limited other pieces of the view around the track. IMPORTANT NOTE! One consideration from previous years is from memory the trackside parking sells out before the admission tickets, for that reason I encourage anyone planning on coming to buy tickets for parking now via the official website; https://www.worldtimeattack.com/ The type of parking you are looking for is 2 Day Park & View (Access Around Venue) Vehicle Pass Only Please note this does not include admission to the event itself, remember to grab that also, and kids under 12 get in for free!

    • Good time for a carbon roof
    • Not in any way aroused by any of those, except maybe the big AMGs. And that would break my never a Euro, ever, rule.
