Upgrades To Increase Torque

Hello.. currently i have a r32gtr with nismo front & catback exhaust and apexi pod filters...

I plan on doing some more modifications one step at a time (e.g turbo, pfc )

However, FOR NOW, i'm more interested in gains at the low range say 0 to 120k'ms...rather than overall power because most of my driving is done between this range.

Or does increasing overall power and responsiveness come hand in hand???

I've been told cam gears improve response and just wondering if this is worth doing even with my current setup with minimal mods...

I'm welcome to suggestions on other alternatives/upgrades...

Yes because the police love a driver that has a cat bypass pipe fitted, say hello to a $10k fine.

Adjustable cam gears would probably be the cheapest, easiest mod for now.

I high flow cat would prety much do the same thing a bypass pipe would.... just a bit more expensive

Either Tomei/HKS 2.8 litre kits or the OS Giken 3.0/3.1 litre kits....

cheapest bet would be adjustable cam gears

and some sort of tuning

whether that be safc/sitc, remap, 2ndhand remaped ecu off 'net, pfc now, etc

Turboback exhaust, Apexi PFC (or equivalent), 6 boost exhaust manifold, nismo/greddy/jun plenum, Hi flow Cat, mild cams, adjustable cam gears (as said above)...

I've read that cam gears can help with RB26 R32 OEM cams, but I haven't heard any stories about the R34 gaining anything at all.

If you've got AM cams, will they already be tweaked to the sweet (timing) spot or do you still need adjustable gears?

A Power FC, turn up the boost and tune it. Everything else is bad value for money in comparison.
