I have been busy on the skyline today and I'm after some info on BOV's,

I know some skyline's idle best with a recirc and some seem to be ok with a traditional BOV?

I have lost the original location for the factory Recirc and I'm after a bov that stands a chance of idling ok,

this is why the factory bov is no longer an option

any help would be cool before I buy one

cheers

biggest problem most of us have with the bov is that they can stall your car at low revs. that goes for manuels and autos. thou it is easy to start up again.

but as long as you are prepared for it then you shouldnt have a problem.

Why is the factory bov no longer an option?

All you need to do is make a flange ,mount that to the intercoller pipe, bolt the stock bov back on and then fabricate up a plumback/recirc pipe that goes from the bov back to the stock intake pipe, you can make it from anything really, any a peice of hose the correct diameter will work fine to, i done this on my old r32 when i was using a R.I.P.S plenum and it worked perfect.

But if you want to have stalling issues, go ahead and buy a different bov
