Ok, so if Im reading this right the general concensus on the way to go isto fit

Electronic boost controller

Turbo back exhaust

Pod filter with heat shielding

ECU

And leave the Intercooler as the stock one is OK?

More n00b question?.

An R34 has a blowoff valve as standard doesent it?

I guess it would be pointless replacing it from both a performance and turbo surge point of view?

What about the Wastegate? I assume the stock item is fine for the job?

the pod filter will do absolutely nothing for power by the way, just so you know that all the work you put into making up the cold air partition won't do a thing for power, just looks and sound.

the blow off vlave is fine don't touch it. So is the wastegate (sort of)

Do the BOV mod as shown here Bill

costs next to nothing.

If you do not wish to hear the BOV go off, keep the airbox and replace the filter element with a K&N or Apexi etc unit.

I have a rear section canon style muffler to suit a GTT if you're interested.

I was under the impressionj that the standard box and filter was restrictive?

people often give impressions without any real facts.

Consider my car can pull low 13's all day, perhaps a 12 shortly. The standard airbox with a K&N restricts nothing. The R34 airbox is a slightly better design I believe so why bother?
