it would be easier to put it back into an r33.

r32 swap has different lengthed driveshafts, motor mounts, power steering pump, and the wiring needs to be modified. The tranny is a different size so the mounts need to be modified there also, and if your speedometer is an electronic output on your old tranny it will not work with the r32 speedometer.

i did an r34 rb25 so its a bit different than your motor so the wiring was more difficult. but in my opinion it is well worth it,i love the power that it has now,in such a light car.

good luck

my conversion took about a week.

wiring was modified. tailshaft was shortened/lengthend i cant remember but it was one of them.

speedo had to be modified to work

love the torque the engine gives though

hey bud.

do you konw what wiring had to modified, and what work had to be done for the speedo?

Basically, all you need is an engine, the ECU and the engine loom.

The R32 gearbox appears to be strong enough to handle a RB25DET. I've been pushing 180awkW out of mine, and the gearbox is still fine (granted, mine is GTS4). Then you don't need to worry about speedos and diffs and driveshafts and gearbox mounts and ...

You need to use the R32 A/C compressor and P/S pump.
