Basically there are two types of Ohlins, ones that are made in Sweden and the ones made in Japan under license.

What he was saying is that the Swedish Ohlins >> Jap Ohlins >> Tein Monoflex > HKS Hipermax

I see... cheers :bomb_ie:

Guees the next question is how much better are the Jap Ohlins compared to Tein monoflex... worth the price difference better?

Depends on the spring rates, typically the Yamahas have rediculously high spring rates and I would recommend that they be changed. Typically the Tein monoflex only have high (not rediculously high) spring rates and so you might get away with not changing them. The cost of changing spring rates may make the Yamahas not such good value for money.

Cheers

Well someone should report the seller of the Ohlins to ebay for selling things he does not even own. Thos shocks are for sale on yahoo at the moment, exact pics and all and from what i can see its a small private trader in Japan, so not a guy trading on yahoo and ebay

Yeh i sent the guy a message to contact me before paying for them as the Ohlins auction ended today and the guy has already ended his ebay auction. So if he doesnt win the shocks on yahoo then the Aus buyer could be getting stuffed around. Especially since they sold for way under what they went for on yahoo. Poor Aussie buyer is getting dooped.
