Just read this article today, from Japanese Option Magazine March 08 edition. Blitz / Dunlop team has announced that they will enter two cars in the Japanese Drift league. One is for D1 and the other is for the "Street Spec D1". The Photo is only a mock-up of what the vehicles would look like.... They will get rid of the transaxle set up and use a FR box and R32~34 rear cradle. Other changes include traditional wire throttle set up instead of the electric and the clutch pedal. Motec ecu is also on the list. Go BLITZ... is Nomu-ken driving this... it didn't say a thing about the driver.... Sweet news! Hope it Pisses all over the EVO and Subi. I hope ppl won't mind this ride becomes a 2WD.

i heard back a whiles ago of somethign liek this.

thought it was all rumours n thats it.

i for one think itll be itneresting how they get around the whole "gearbox used to be mounted off the ddiff thing".... wont be a great deal of room to fit a hollinger or soemthing up to the motor... as there is no trans tunel for it....

good luck to em :(

  • 2 weeks later...

I think it will be good. although it has he base model of a 350 and will prbly have the same effect of drift that the z has. As there arnt many z's in drift i dont think there will be 35 gtr's in drift. :?

But idk i could be wrong
