so besides those hks and other very expensive turbo's,there are no known others that are a direct fit?? why are brand new turbos so cheap on ebay?? and yes i know if i want a good one i should expect to pay good money but i am only after a new turbo rather than massive power,as long as its a little better than stock... :)

I recently bought myself a stage 2 hi flowed Slide turbo. Had intended to fit a cheap T3/T4 turbo, but it is quite large. Also the Slide turbo will have the power where I want it. So I no longer have a use for the T3/T4 turbo I purchased. :D

if around $1800 to $2200 is expensive for a direct bolt on is expensive then you have a problem. usually costs about $300 to swap turbos at most quality workshops. the HKS turbo option allows you to sell your standard turbo for $300-400. the GCG option means you either canibalise your existing turbo or better still you find a broken one suitable for hi-flowing.

some of the turbos you see on Ebay are name brand turbos BUT you then need oil and water lines, a new dump pipe, possibly spacer plates, intake piping modifications plus the cost of labour of these modifications. your $1500 turbo looks pretty pricey at the end of all this stuffing around.

back to the topic of JJR dump pipes

I called Daniel with the measurements of my existing s2 dump and pipe back to the cat

the dimensions I read him out matched the dump they list for the stagea- so fingers crossed thats right

back to chuckies comments- I think a lot has changed since he got his - so maybe things will fit easier now

I have been assured by JJ that it will fit..
