Nissan Key

Hey all,

When I bought my R33 the only key they gave me was a copied one...looks kind of budget and was hoping I could just go somewhere to get a proper Nissan key cut for it?

Went to Mr Minute and a few other small-ish key cutting places, they all said no. One suggested a locksmith might be able to help, so just wondered if anyone knows for sure of where you go? If its even possible?

I had my key cut at a local watch place in the mall... No biggie.... works fine... look at another place, perhaps one that has lots of different types of key blanks

some lock smiths may not be happy to cut nissan blanks as they are stainless not brass and therefore harder on their machines

See if you can get the code from the barrel.. goto a locksmith and have a code-cut key made for you. Should be good as the real thing.

its ghey cos they ground the code off my key. i think i have the original r33 key though. no idea

If your code has been ground off, you can get a locksmith to decode the key you've got.
