Found A Switch And It Isnt In The Manual =s

i have a switch on the panel to the left and under the steering wheel sorta.

It has two images each side of it. on one side there is a picture of a half triangle and on the other is a full triangle. currently its on the half triangle and im just wondering if any of you knw what the hell this switch is for?

any comments will be greatly appreciated.

its for your antenna. half up or all the way up. Im pretty sure its in the manual too...ha.

lol it took me like 4 months to figure that out. everytime id pressed it my antenna would move and i was convinced something was wrong in the wiring or something, so i took it to a nissan guy only to find out thats what the button is for. ill never forgeet his qoute: "i usually charge people for troubleshooting.....but in your case....we'll just let this problem go for free"

i couldn't get out of there quick enough...

Mine is a late s1 and it has it, wish the friggin antenna would just stay down though.

I've got a 32 with the antenna built into the windshield, how come they didn't keep on doing that with the 33s as well?

i have an early S1 auto and iv got a dash light dimmer spin thingy, wish i had one of these switches, im for ever bending the damn thing on the bushes next to my car hold

i have a s2r33 and have that switch

i do belive (95%) that the half triangle is antena half way up and full triangle is full

however i had a new H/U put in and now the switch doesnt do anything.

i have a series 2 and i got this switch as well!

it's normalli on the half triangle.

i have an aftermarket headunit and the switch still works. The antenna goes halfway wen playing cd's, goes all the way up wen it's on radio and goes right down wen the headunit is off.

i just grounded the wire to the antenna with a on/off style switch so the damn thing is only up when i want it up!

if im looking at the right spot then that switch is for putting the spoiler up and down on my 94 s1, does not do anything tho.
