ok, so i have a hks2535..

do i keep on adjusting my boost via the adjustable actuator (will annoy me after a while) - i know its better to keep the wategate shut for as long as possible yada yada

or

lower actuator to lowest + install the turbo tech i got sitting here

or

lower actuator to lowest + be a wanker and have a cool hi/low switch for daily driving then 'spirited' (as u sau gents call it) driving?

winter is approaching, dont think i need 18psi to do wat i do, rather keep it low and give the thing a easier workload for a bit.

i already have all the above parts next to me, i just started my apprenticeship so things like profec b are not an option right now as id rather make-do with the above suggestions...

any ideas?

thats the thing, sick of feathering the throttle....

just dont mash it to the floor all the time.

I ran 24psi/350rwkw for ages, never really had a problem or needed to turn the boost down.

Even daily driving @ 270rwkw/17psi, 65-75% throttle = no problem easily.

Work with what you have...

Just use the turbotech to raise your boost to the desired level while using the adjustable actuator to control spiking or increase response...

I run the exact same setup with the same turbo on my rb20...works a treat...

    • Nothing going on there. Stock as.
    • Knowwhatchatmeanforsure.  I really want one, but as I already have an IC7 I don't think I'll ever be able to justify the upgrade.
    • I managed to get a video of the car running. Maybe the car is just idling normally? I showed this to one of my mates and they thought it was normal idle. I thought it was a small/slight cam(?) or something else. What do you guys think? https://drive.google.com/file/d/1aAcmgWzjstK-AqQgph2TTL2RPQWgTbbf/view?usp=sharing
    • Yeah. I think Moog's GTR was set up with a stock looking layout on the UC10. It looks good. And that you can connect many direct connect signals to it, use it as an input extender for the ECU, etc. Which means for me, it is almost desirable, because I could mostly/sorta use it against a Nistune ECU. But it's a lot of money to drop for an almost/sorta thing. KnowwhatImean?
    • Have you seen the firmware changes so now everything is customisable on the dash?
