theres some debate about 12psi vs 14psi on the stock turbo.

maybe we can get some actual results from those who have tried.

did it make any more meaningful power? did the turbo last? etc etc

if you have a look around the internet you find (less reputable) sources claiming max boost for rb25 stock turbo as high as 17psi. lol. yeah i know.

and then some as low as 10psi MAX.

so who's had real experience pushing their stock turbo beyond 12psi, and what were your findings?

ME~! I have a S2 ecr33... I thought, jeez I can bump the pounds up and get more power.... Sure!

Lasted 2 days at 14psi! Then both impellers disintergrated! Front wheel as well! My car is serviced every 5000km and everything is maintained in very good order and at the time have about 80,000km on the clock... Nevertheless, the turbo does not like it....
