Dont mind the missing fuel cap  Was getting some paint for my ganadors just wanted to make sure it matched.

New wheels are lenso 19x10's, they have a +17 offset compared to the factory 30 so the wheels come out nicely now.

Thanks to Novak from Empire Aero for these, perfect quick delivery and nice guy to deal with.

Heh yeah I know she sits pretty high, im not fussed but.

Ive lowered heaps of cars in the past but now I prefer to keep the drivability and not have to worry about scraping over the smallest of speed bumps or angles. If the front spoiler didnt hang down lower than the rest of the body id consider dropping a few inches on it.

Very nice mate, looks like a mint GTR,

If that was my car the only other things I'd do externally would be to get a pair of nismo sideskirts or similar in CF to compliment the vspec lip and rear diffuser

and also get some CF ganador mirrors.

But very swoit as it is, lowered GTRs look wrong to me imo, that's just me

what happened to your fuel cap!! nice measurements on the rims though!

:P

as stated he's using the fuel cap to match paint.

looks 6.5-7.5/10... would love to see those rims in full gunmetal grey with a 1.5 inch drop... wheels excluded looks like an extremely nice example!

if your happy im very happy! nice stuff dude clean car all round! :ermm:

Like they say Jenkies you cant judge taste, if everyones was the same it'd be a pretty boring world!

Fuel cap is back on now :ermm: I got some ganadors but im painting them blue, im not really a fan of large carbon pieces. I have a carbon ztune style bonnet but thats getting painted also :D

After that im done with my patrol, then its off to straddie, or something :P

This is just my opinion, as you asked, so don't worry too much...

I think those wheels look like horrible, cheap, Tempe Tyre spec wheels. Definitely not suited to a tough GTR like that, imo some quality Jap wheels would look 100 x better. But hey, just my opinion, so if you're happy with the wheels thats all that matters.

Personally, not a fan of those wheels - reminds me of alot of the "JDM modfied pro racer spec" Honda Civics out there. I would of gone for something thick spokes, possible dish depends or just kept with the standard wheels. I would of also gone for something like shadow chrome, silver, dark bronze or dark grey - single tone; not two tone - would go well with the blue much nicer and be more subtle looking.

Other than that, definitely needs to be lowered - atleast to about just barely above the tyre; preferably have the tyre slightly under the guard. And as someone else mention - sideskirts would compliment the rear diffuser and front lip real nicely. Overall, bar the wheels the car looks mega hot

    • I'm not that familiar with R33 tanks. Plastic? Up behind the rear seat between the towers? Or under the boot floor like a normal car? It's the battery that's up between the towers isn't it? So, plastic tanks. Well, um. The obvious reco is plastic welding, which you'd only look at asking someone who's really good at to contemplate trying. The fuel contamination and grot is probably going to make it quite difficult though. Whether plastic or steel - the end of the crack will want to be drilled before any welding or sealing is done. Otherwise it will just continue to wander along until something bad happens. Steel tank? The obvious answer is drain, wash, purge with inert gas and drill the crack end and weld/braze/silver solder/whatever the guys who do that to fuel tanks recommend. I had a crack/hole/leak in the bottom of a Commodore tank (oe was it my ALFA? - can't remember) that I slammed some gorilla snot onto and it never leaked again. It worked surprisingly well. Or, it's time to fab a new tank.
    • MBS206 Did u just take the “Limitless” pill? cause that was way over my head, much respect bro 🤜🏼
    • I personally haven't been in this situation, however have repaired a cracked radiator using JB Weld and held up until I could replace it with a Honda Accord years ago. Maybe @GTSBoy might have a sound strategy?
    • Hi Dose, I know you'll be reading this thread. Brake pads are going good mate thanks. Anyway, pulled the 33 fuel tank out today because we were limited to a disgusting 480hp on the old fuel pump setup. On pulling the tank, I found the cracks in the photo (I don't think they're leaking, but fuel evaporates quick so hard to tell). What's the best way to repair, or is their a new tank alternative? Thank you.
