RB20DET Motor, Manual Gearbox

I want to transplant an RB20DET and manual gear box into my R30 as a project car...

Not sure of everything I need, but anyone selling a front cut or just the engine, ECU, Loom and gear box ?

i have an rb20det silver top you can have for 700 - no turbo and needs valve stem seals

r31gts? Hmmm.... is there everything needed to transplant into my car? Like ECU, loom, wiring etc????

If so.... how much would it cost to put new valve stem seals on it?

sorry there is no harness or ecu as i used it when i converted red top to silver top.... i would guess 200 ish to fix the stem seals worst case .

coz I was interested in putting an RB25 and GTSR22 has what I need, then you can take all the stuff outta my R32 GTS-T

but if it's interstate, then I think it's too much trouble

I'm in tassie.... not far really... depends what sort of deal you are talking... What sort of price are you thinking for the R32 gear?

estimating from r31gts's posts, I would say 1500 for all the stuff you need. But I have no idea how much the gearbox is worth

I'm just trying to work out how much extra money I need to pull out for this engine transplant, ie labour cost, and other stuff I need

It all depends on who you know... I have a friend that'll put in the engine for me, of course I'll have to help and throw in some money for my mate, then we have to make the gear box Cross memeber and probably get an Auto Electric to do the wiring...

GTSR22.... I have been trying to contact people from that nispares place, but have no luck..

I was interested stuff off the MR30 they are recycling...

umm... after talking to some people, it's not really worth it for me to change engine as it requires engineering certificate as well

better off saving up for rb26 if I were to do engine transplant
