Hey folks.

I've done alot of googling and foruming, but haven't really come across much regarding BOV specifics. IE, what will fit :D

I had looked at cheaper GFB $200 ones, which may do what I want.

Anyhoo, stock GTS-T RB25DET, not even a pod filter ;) What would be a reasonable upgrade, and more towards the BOVs that whoooosh, as apposed to chatter (too too too to tooo).

Point me to any threads about this, search didn't bring anything up for some reason :S

Cheers

the std one is fine and works well, if you change your airfilter it will become louder

there's no need to change / replace the stocker with an airfilter, its plenty loud

go for a quick lap around the block with the top of your airbox panel removed - youll see how loud it is

You just need a r33 adaptor plate to fit or weld

You get woosh when its loose and to to too when its tight , pod and fmic will increase flutter. some cars very with loudness with this.

How loud do you want it?

Personally i am getting over my megasonic and am thinking of going back stock, plus it performs better apparently. I personally like the turbosmart sounds and can't stand the hks whistle, dont know how its the most popular

If you car is completely stock i would imagine a more worthwhile upgrade would be to put the $200 towards an exhaust or a CAI. The bov will give you no gain whatsoever.

There are no bov's that "chatter." Thats just compressor surge by having the bov blocked off, removed or having the bov spring too tight.
