Mine used to do this too. It would just randomly blink quicker than normal, as if a globe has blown, but once you take a turn, it would return to normal. I too have a 32 sedan.

I think it's been a loose connection or a faulty globe though.

I normally get this issue after blowing an indicator globe. However (once) I needed a new universal timer thing that controls the indicator timing, I can't remember the real part name....except that it was about $15 and bought from Bursons or Autobarn.

Hi, hope I don't cause bad bumpage of this thread, though I felt it was better to have it in the same spot than start a new one.

This morning my indicators started doing the same thing, just on the left side.

I haven't had the chance to check it out thoroughly yet as I just got to work, but it's only the front left on the front bar that isn't working.

If I put hazard lights on, they all blink at the usual rate, but still not the front bar left indicator.

Is this a normal thing to happen when an indicator globe goes? Or could I expect it to be something else? It's only happened this morning..was kinda scary in traffic when you can only see the reflection of one indicator and not knowing if people know your intentions with turning =S

Also for the OP. Your car being a sedan doesn't mean your car shouldnt have side indicators. As far as I know its actually something that is meant to be done at compliance to comply with Australian standards.

I gather this isnt harshly controlled as their is a lot of imports missing them. But saying that, I have seen plenty of sedans with them.

Have you checked you have side intrusion bars lol?
