...gry???

Recommended Posts

aggry -- a glass bead found buried in the earth in Ghana.

puggry -- a light scarf wound around a hat or helmet to protect. the head from the sun.

meagry -- of meager appearance.

puggry -- an Indian turban; a scarf worn around a sun helmet.

mawgry -- from Old French: being regarded with displeasure.

aggry -- colored glass beads worn by Africans.

anhungry -- an obsolete word for hungry that is allowed to stay in the dictionary because it shows up in Shakespeare.

Apparently the origin of this riddle was a simple trick of word play. It was meant to be spoken, not written, as the secret to the riddle was in mis-hearing the clue. The riddle went like this:

There are three words in the English language that end in g or y (sounds like "gry"). Angry and hungry are two. What is the third word in the English language. Everyone knows what it is and uses it everyday. The answer (another trick) to "What is the third word in "the English language," to noone's great surprise, is "language."

The riddle, as posted here, represents a real life example of the old "broken telephone" game almost everyone has played in school.

There's a crap load of stuff about the "gry" words on the net! Some people have way too much time on their hands :(

hrmm.. I was really looking at getting the GT25 Internals in the Std Housing for around 2k but Tilbrooks/JMS have said they arn't that good.

Bill (who does the turbo's) said that he was unsure why it only made 196rwkw with a fully tuned ecu on a RB20DET, he said for some reason it just died in the arse end up top, it should have been good for 210rwkw running 17 psi approx.

He said to me that for the same price he could do it in the RB25DET Housing which hopefully should fix the problem, he also said that different cars make different power hence some not good.

It would have to run around 17-18psi to make over 200rwkw.

Tilbrooks did say that ATS's turbo's had to run to much boost to make decent power.

They also said go a HKS 2530 if you can find it as they are heaps better quicker spooling just a better turbo all over.

Or go a HKS2510 and you will make pretty much just on 200rwkw max.

HKS Turbo's new are around $3500-4000 apparently.

hrmm.. ppls?? Any Idea's?
