Hi,

I have a question about where the wastegate actuator plumbing is taken from,

The picture here has 2 connections, A and B,

I have seen turbos with either A or B, what is the difference from taken the "pressure" from A over B,

Why is A and B joined at C ?, what does this do ?

what the? I would have a guess B = pressure taken from inside the cast housing side to give a more definitive and accurate pressure, "A" is a common source on where the wastegate line is usually joined to to take the pressure from.

A and B combined would give an average or common pressure difference between the two points.

I dont know too much about point B as i havent seen any pressure points located in that position on the housings, Maybe some turbo gurus might be able to help on that area, but most ive seen well all ive seen are usually taken from point A, or somewhere along the IC piping

^^ +2 100%

Iv never seen B before, but regardless, with it Y'd into A, would give a more accurate average boost then A alone. Maybe those comp covers had weird turbulence, requiring it - don't know.
