nuclear_skyline
My understanding of heat ranges with cars is that colder running plugs cope with higher temps and more grief then hotter plugs. The down side is that if you go too cold with the plug they can foul easily at idle, on the HWY, etc... Colder plugs are better for reving, hot engines??? (I am so going to get crucified for that). I know that when I put my cooper s on the track, I change the plugs down to a colder set and that gives me a more consistent and reliable spark then normal street plugs... But if I try and drive around the street on them they foul in 10 mins... Not sure what range would be too far for you Hamish... blind_elk
ive tryed iridiums and they foul up when the car breaks loseusing copers and they fowl up when i give it stick when its cold just looking to see what people are doing It runs RICH when the engine is cold. You shouldn't be giving it stick when the engine is cold. Some people don't deserve a Skyline.
