Take the tyiming cover off, rotate the crank to TDC and look at the camshaft pulleys. Take 10 minutes at best.

I was under the impression the timing belt is a bitch to get access to .. ? Can anyone show me some pics as to what I should be looking at precisely as I'm not so mechanically minded (although my dad might be, but I don't trust him with a skyline ..his forte were gemeni's ;D)

Could a dyno power run do any damage if the timing is one tooth out? I wanna be sure there's something wrong before I actually take it back to the place that changed the timing belt so I don't look like a complete tool.

In my mind, there's definately less power since the timing belt was changed .. the turbo doesn't seem to spool up as early or as much as it used to and there's no sudden oomph when it does. It feels like I'm just running on 6 cylinders. Having said that, when the car is idle it's not rough which I've read somewhere is a definate sign of wrong timing ... so it could all be in my head hey?
