Traders on SAU/internet forums are the cheapest I've found - I told the guy at autobarn approximately $500 through SAU traders when they were selling them for about $1000 he replied SAU traders probably selling fakes... I lol'd.

haha same thing happend to me went to autobarn they said they could get power fc for 1650 and said i found 1 on the forums for 1100 and he said its prob a fake i also lol'd

This is semi off topic but I have a series 1.5 R33 and my engine rocker cover is coloured red where every other 33 is silver.

Does this define a series 1/2 motor or has a previous owner painted it?

previous owner painted it, series 1 was a kind of creamy rocker cover colour where as the series 2 is a flat grey colour, most people dont realise this either.
