Gtr Stock Turbos

hey people just wondering what revs R32 GTR stock turbo would they be at full boost.Also how responsive should they be? A mate told me my turbos arent stock becos of the way they come on and what revs.As far as i knew they were stock thats why im asking.

hey man mine are stock and they dont start to sing (hit higher psi till about 4 grand.. this sound about right??

There should be some info around if you search, but it depends on the gear your in and it changes quite if you have adjustable cam gears....

Anyway, I found in the R33 GTR somewhere around 2800RPM they kick in in 2nd gear, full boost, maybe 3500PM but I'm not too sure, after cam gears this was quite a bit lower.

In 4th gear with CAM gears they now start spooling at 2500 RPM or so and full boost kicks in very early (carefully tuned CAM gears and 1 bar boost).

An easy way to determine it will be go to a dyno day...

yeah same as mine.

allthough i installed some front pipes recently and now they start up at like 3000 ish (instead of around 4000), heaps less laggy now.

Mine makes 13psi at 3300rpm (on dyno, so 4th gear). If you mean what revs at stock boost, it would of course be less than that. It starts making boost at around 2000rpm. Its running stock dumps and makes 242kw.

thanks guys mines weird 4500rpm + n its at full boost.I only got exhaust front pipes and pods with 12.5-13psi.I dunno if my turbos are stock or not
