Exhaust - 500-900 (2nd hand vs new)

Turbotech @ 12 Psi ($40?)

R34 SMIC - $150

Toshi ECU remap (search for it) around $400

You will the have 200rwkw - very good power and response for $1200

Whiteline Swaybars from Garage 13 - $380

2nd hand Adjustable Coilovers - $500-$800

Now the car handles well for under a grand if you look for a good deal

QFM K500 brake pads - $150

QFM Stainless Steel brake lines -$250? (not exactly sure on price)

Good brake fluid - $70

Now the things stops! for under $500

Spend the rest on labour or beers to help you DIY!!

Hehehehe, looks remarkably similar to my suggestion.

If you get a pod get a 3a racing they are the best and only like $40 bucks, you will need adaptor too which is about 30

Do you have proof to back that up??? What makes you say they are the best?

It is generally acknowledged that you should either get a K&N Panel filter or if you are getting a pod, get the Apexi Power Intake which you can get for $89 delivered (no need for adaptor....)

Heres the results of a filter test:

Has been covered many times before, off topic but since you asked auto salon magazine issue 51 2007

Look at 3aracing.com and look in the air filters section it has all the results.

JJr Turbo back exhaust w/ split dump $899.00 from Just Jap

Stealth FMIC $550.00 from Just Jap

Boost it to 12 Psi w/ Turbotech boost controller $30

If you still have an airbox i would stick with that and just get a panel filter, especially if your in vic.

Add some sort of piggy back or retune and you should be happy.

but in the end it depends on how much power you want.

As for handling...still dunno!

Was thinkin about 2nd hand coilovers, and sway bars.

Would like suggestions for Suspension and handing...roughly bout $1400 to $1800 if I don't go out for the next 2 weeks.

i would not bother for now, i believe the suspension in my car is standard and for a daily driver it handles pretty dam good as it is, personally i would leave the handling, get the mods you mentioned done and go out for the next few weeks, in a month or so after the mods are done then decide if you want cooil overs or not, this will also give you more time to see what is out there and get better opionons on what people think of brands and coil overs in general, i have noticed a few ppl selling there coil overs lately and going back to standard because it is too stiff for a daily driver.

dont quote me on this, but apparently swaybars (under 400$) give significantly increased handling without comprimising the ride quality (again dont quote me on this). so u should look into this. also if u think ure a bit handy, getting a pod and making your own CAI is worth-while. and if u dont want to keep peeling the defect stickers from your windshield, id also make a heat shield for it (plenty of guides on here on how to do it, just do a search).
