yeah that one is stock! except you have the wrong battery (terminals the wrong way around, and larger posts than standard so the cables don't fit properly). You really should not drive it around like that it is in danger of coming loose/shorting/burning the car to the ground.

what holds the other side of the oil filter relocator in place? one side has a bracket going to the strut tower, but what supports the other?

Battery is a temp fit - spare from the boat (original died, again).

nothing holds the filter in place apart from the bent flat bracket.

Note filter is ssmack bang in front of dipstick....

I really need to see a stock engine bay - i've got a spare vacuum hose coming from engine (with bolt in it)

oh good to hear.

where is the vacuum hose - can you circle it in one of the pics?

you can see why people move the boost solenoid when they put the relocator it - it gives heaps more space and gives a good mounting bracket.

yeah i see it in the first pic. that is wierd unless you are running a boost controller too. the only small vacuum line under the plenum is the vacuum source that runs to the air lines for the boost control solenoid (which you still have), and then back around behind the motor to the stock actuators. if that was plugged your car would not have proper (any) boost control unless something else has been changed under there. Dont worry about it if it is running fine

It's one (*of two) larger ones. Thge stock actuators are definitely connected (had to rebuild turbos).

There was a boost controller fitted (with hole in hose).

I asked mech to take it back to stock - he came up with the bolt in the hose cause it wouldn't fit to anything.....

I think I need to check all my plumbing again..
