Hi, guys. I just got to Japan, and I'm looking to purchase a GT-R. Was wondering if you guys could help me out? A dealer I talked to said he could get me a good condition GT-R around '94 for ~ 1,000,000 yen or $10k dollars. Is this a good price? I don't really have any clue as to how much GT-R cost in Japan. What should I be on the look out for? I'd like one as close to stock as possible, but I'm not sure if that'll be possible for that price range. I did a search on a Japanese used car site, and it does seem like there are '94 GT-R's out there for around $10k dollars with relatively low mileage (<90,000 km). What did brand new R33 GT-Rs cost in Japan? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm going to hold off for a bit. Only been in Japan 2 weeks. Don't even have my Japanese license yet, and have never even driven on the left side of the road before. I'm going to pick up a beater, and get used to driving around Japan. I would hate to pick up a GT-R and get it all dinged up. Beaters here are cheap! Looking to pick up a Honda Inspire (Acura TL in the States) with less than 50,000 km for less than $3,000 US dollars. I won't feel so bad if this one takes a beating. Going to take my time looking for a GT-R (I have a few years). I might be able to get some better deals once I start getting to know some Japanese people. I would love a R34, but they're still going for $30k. Can't justify that much money, since I won't be able to convert it to being street legal back home. I like the looks of the R33 and can stomach the $10k-15k.
