My ride is r32 GTR, i drag 2004 STI today and i lost by 2 car lenght, im pretty good with manual. After the drag i wine my window down and i said to him is ur car stock he said yes. so wen I get home I ask to my boyfriend steve wat he think is best, but he told to me don't worry about wrx cauze ur GTR is faster. ne way i felt better after we do it a while....

eh you probably just cant drive, 2004 sti's hit like 13.4 up the quarter from memory, and assuming ur gtrs not a POS 13 flat should be possible.. he probably dumped the clutch from revs and you probably didnt..

Also he didn't say he was street racing, coulda wound down his window on the track.

You need naws. 2 of the big ones. How could you lose to a STI? I have beaten a VP V8 in my GTS-t so how does that work.

Yeah GTR's can 'bog' down in a drag if you don't 'Launch' it. Well it feels that way...

Even tho the STi weights about 1495kg and the GTR is about 1430kg... depending on you tuning / mods aswell you should have the upper hand.

But having said that there are other factors.

so flick the boost restrictor and put on a decent exhaust and go the track and try him again
