not necessarily.. if he is mentally unstable (which he'd have to be).. they might just refer him to a mental hospital for an examination.. and any treatment required..

he may get a fine but jail isnt the first place they take them if he has problems (depression, etc)

To be honest, while it's nice and all to save a life (yay!) holding up everyone else trying to get across the river for that length of time adds up.

Most of us get about 700,000 hours (about 80 years) on average to live, when you hold up a city with a few million people in it by blocking traffic (not to mention the other effects of causing others waiting on people stuck in traffic (shipping companies, etc), it only takes a little bit to add up quick.

If it takes 500000 people 30 minutes extra to get where they're going or do what their doing because of it, quick maths will give you that you've just wasted 250000 hours of those people, or 28 years worth of the rest of the population collectively.

Need to work on a bit of a change on how these cases are handled. Brisbane isn't a small town any more, needs to grow up.

    • It's (the TPS) buzzing? Or something else is buzzing in response? Remove the IACV from the plenum. Block the hole into the plenum with your hand. Get someone to start the car. Let some air is. Do the revs flare up? This is checking that the path into the plenum is clean. After that, is the air hose leading to the IACV fuly clear? After that, either you didn't clean it thoroughly enough to allow the valve to move, or it is broken.
    • Just a follow-up on this topic. From what I can tell so far the rusty residue on the engine block might be unrelated to a coolant leak or maybe just older than anticipated. After driving it from the winter garage to my friend's garage I could not see any new traces of coolant leaking there, but I will test this properly once I was able to fully warm up the car and drive it for a bit. I think I can agree that the whole porous engine block stuff is kind of nonsense, but there is just a silly amount of true, false and half-true information on anything Skyline-related on the internet.
