Hi all,

Trying to find out of the RB26DETT has a seperate pressure 'switch' that controls the red light on the oil pressure gauge, or if the red light AND the needle on the gauge are both fed from the pressure sensor next to the oil filter.

I have the classic non working oil pressure sender so i get 4 bar at startup but it quickly falls to 0 during my journey - and yet the light goes out almost instantly upon startup. My Japanese Nissan manual says that the light should come on under 0.8 bar of oil pressure......my gauge reads less than that and the light doesnt come on !?

Worried !
