Hey Guys,

Yep this has been brought up before, and is currently being discussed by the moderators.

At this stage it is being held off as there may be a reconfiguration of the For Sale section which could give you state and model listings at the press of a button.

Hopefully there will be more to advise soon, and I'll keep you guys updated.

Cheers

Bobby

I believe if we have more sponsers in the thread we will have one pretty soon

however, we really need to have one for this model of car, becuz in the usa market, they really build up a very good reputation for this and having a lot of fun there....i believe if we have one for sale section to attract more business trades to bring as many parts as they can, it's gonna be a bigger market than other skyline models...

hope we really have one soon then i will stop looking TT kit in the US market and communicate with them at ver very slow procedure due to the day and night time difference....and the hassult like shipping or insurance issues won't come up anymore...

cheers

All Vendors are welcome to become paying advertisers on Skylines Australia. There is a special section for Vendors who do this.

I think the problem you're describing above has more to do with the amount of V35's in Australia rather than not having a specific vendor section for them. Again the new format should allow for model specific searching.

With so few cars, there is minimal constant demand for any specific products and thus few vendors are interested in paying to advertise for a handful of cars.

Personally I would love this to not be the case and would love parts to be available here. As an example I just paid $150 US shipping for a clutch and flywheel, and now need to get brake pads and a few other things.

My only advise is to try some Aussie 350Z suppliers. Another option is for us to start "lobbying" Aussie shops such as Just Jap, Unique Autosports etc etc to start stocking V35 parts. The only way they will do this is if they see there is a demand. So we need ring them first before we shop overseas. Of course it doesn't help when the parts are cheaper to ship from the US :-)

correct.

indeed. I import a lot of specific audio stuff for them as it is and most of it sits and gathers dust. now in comparison to other models most of that moves easily.

depends. most people ASSUME that things are the same between the car (G35,350Z) and in some cases they are not. audio/electronics is point and case. they look the same but its not.

as for lobbying. supply vs demand - no demand so no supply. give it a few years once these cars age a bit and things will be come more readily available.

agree with the point of USDM items being cheaper than JDM. I get this same problem in my industry.
