Hey guys, I gotta set of front R32 GTST brakes that im going to put on my R30, but as you can see in the pics attached they are in pretty shocking condition ie rust.

Is there anything I can soak them in to clean them up? or any other ideas?

I am going to repaint them so I don't care if I strip the paint.

Yeh, personally i would take them apart. Wash everything thoroughly in a good solvent. The i would blast the calipers and get them re-painted. Then i woudl blast the pistons which i suspect may end up being shagged. If the pitting and oxidation isnt too bad then i would get them ceramic coated to seal them back up and stop future corrosion...then throw a seal kit in them and away you go.

My only concern would be the extent of corrosion on the pistons

Thanks a lot mate, any idea what kind of solvent I should use?
