Installing Speakers In R30 Door, Need Help

Hey people, just wondering whether or not it is a smart idea to cut out a hole big enough to put the magnet of the speaker through in my doors.

I have taken 2 pics and circled the area that needs butchering to make these fit.

If you can't tell by the photos it is an R30 coupe so it is pillarless, I don't know if cutting this little bit out will ruin the structural integrity?

Its possible that it will. Also there is the legality issues. Maybe move the speaker up a bit and put it in the whole above it? Convert it to electric windows so it wont foul on the wipers.
