I'm about to remove all the hicas shit from the car today.

i did a search but couldn't find much about re routing the lines as i figure some will stay

i figure i remove the lines with the X's and join the links with the O's

correct?

HICAS solenoid's, valve and rear rack removal is a hugely common process - search harder.

Essentially your feeding the rear stage of the PS pump through he stock fined fluid cooler, then back to the reservoir.

As the rear stage is now pushing against no resistance, simple hose clamps can be employed.

Oh and wrong section.

Just to resurrect a well old post, if I remove the front and rear solenoids form the HICAS system do I need to modify the loom to not screw up the power steering? I am more than happy with the routing of the front hoses, just curious about the electronic side of it all.
