first thing that comes to mind is... raise them coilovers...lol

trying to think this late at night is not good for your soul im tellin ya! ehhe

Just like smoking...

Yeh, let me know if you want to use it. Try and get as many done as possible, start early then work late into the night. We have plenty of lights so that isnt a problem. And any that dont get done, finish off in the morning!

If you guys go ahead with this, i dont mind lending my hands to work on the cars...

I can bring along some tools.

Will be interesting to see this!

Although 7th/14th not the best dates for me... as my last uni exam is the 16th, but if for some reason its after the 16th, ill certainly drop by.

make it the week after then...

i think we should rock up at 7am in the morning, bacon and eggs for breakfast as the first meal possibly with beer (kidding)

then work the way through the day, lunch we have some snags etc. and dinner can be similar, hopefully the more the merrier, no use having heaps of food and nobody is going to lend any assistance so this occasion i suggest must be very well organised :D

my belt keeps screeching though, how much longer will it last does anybody know?

which belt is making the noise?

I would think any of those belts except for timing belt should be a pretty easy swap and change.

Is it when it starts up? Or when you turn?

Or something else?

best bet would be alternator.

That was leo's problem as well...

Probably best just to change it, then you know its done and wont happen again :D

So whats the car count on this thing?

Lucky my 100k service was recently done ;)

Na_goodness is a super host man!!! Inviting approx 10 cars to his house to get work done... now thats something! !

Bahaha!! I had Andrews car in pieces at my house 4 nites in a row. Plus my parents are always complaining that I go out with my mates, instead of inviting them back to my house so... that should fill my quota for the year! Its pretty small, and mostly on a hill... But as long as we dont have to jack anything up on the driveway, its all good. Should ask my parents first tho...

I don't need to work on my car, but I am happy to come down and swing some spanners. I have done a couple of Neo and non Neo RB's so I have half an idea. I can also bring my box along if we need tools.

    • Just something I found searching for more info on Emotion R, apparently the ECR33 Skyline GTS25t was either originally black, or there were two of them, the black one being the original demo car, then building a white one which was part of the 1997-onwards (to at least 2008!) Cockpit Tatebayashi Tokyo Auto Salon booth demo cars. It appears that Emotion R closed down in 2008 and was declared bankrupt in 2010: http://bank-db.com/hasan/208365. I used to love doing this 20 years ago on SAU and got a bit nostalgic for a moment... 😅
