Boost Gauge Installation

My mate got a set of black face defi gauges in his car so he gave me his old boost gauge for a very good price (considering i saw the same one today for $269)

So Anyway i went to that car shop in Floreat Forum (Its worth having a look if you havent yet as well) and bought a cheap pillar mount for it.

Heres were im stuck. Can anyone install it properly (for alchol!). If not where can i get it installed and how much is it gonna cost

Theres only the tube and a wire for the light i think.

Looks simple enough but i have NFI!

Paul, i work all day saturdays. How about sunday arvo???

The tube (that make the boost gauge move, is that the vacum line??) doesnt really seem that long... The wire only seems about 40cm long as well

aghh, on saturdays i work from 10-8.30pm, so its not really possible unfortuneately

Mondays i have off and tuesday - friday i start work at 3-12pm.

What times / days are best for you

Just jumping in here guys, On my R33, i cant find a hole to feed the vacuum line for my boost gauge. Where did u guys feed it through the firewall?

Yup. Sure did, I drilled a hole to the right of the steering column shaft that goes thru the firewall... Dead Simple

Enrico, There are a few places in the firewall that will give you access for the boost line. Not easy, takes a bit of playing around.

i managed to find a hole for mine on the drivers side of the firewall, took a bit of poking around but it came through

Robo's i just hooked mine up to the dimmer switch
