Is knock a common value between all ECU's/Manufacturers? Reason I ask is I have been logging my mitsubishi legnum's stock ECU using EvoScan software, and the knock value is around 17 under full load, and pulls the timing from approx +30deg to +12deg, notciably richening the exhaust (O2 goes to almost full 1V).

Is this bad, ie. am I doing damage, OR is it simply the ECU protecting the engine? Still feels like its pulling like a train.

EDIT: Attached a shot of the log. Note I have multiplied O2, Knock Sum and Timing x1000 to make it readable against RPM.
