Car's in the shop today. Going to install a manual boost controller and emanage ( blue) . Will be pushing it up to 0.8 bar. Will update the dyno results.

The tuner highlighted some concerns regarding the use of Emange as he claims there have been instances of coils frying or shorting.

Mine is a R33 GTS 1997 series 2.

Question

1) what is the diff on the ignition side between a series 1 vs series 2?

2) Any feedback from series 2 owners with emanage who fried their coil packs?

Kinda green in this area and any updates would be great.

emanages only burn coils if fitted wrong. the emanage blue for your car comes as a kit and requires no wiring and plugs in the same as a powerFc.

ive seen mid to high 200rwkw's with the blue on RB25's

Just got a call from my mech. Car running fine and pullled 250 bhp on the wheels at 0.8 bar.

Is that ok or kinda low?

Mods done

1) Catless 3 inch exhaust from downpipe to rear

2) Open pod filter.

3) Mech boost controller set at 0.8 bar

4) Emanage blue

5) Stock intercooler.
