Hey

can some one point me in the direction of the how to change a fuel pump in a r33 gtr.

Im switching from the standered fuel pump to a nismo item.

I bought the nismo one as people told me its a straight swap over. Thats also why im attempting it myself.

If there isnt one can some one help me out. thanks...

Also if any onme has a how to, chanhe over injectors. im putting in SARD 700cc items. But if thats to hard or fiddly i might just give it to the tuner to do... ideas?

thanks

also side note, is there any point trying to sell my gtr injectors and fuel pump?? the car has gone 90xxx? price?

Injectors i swapped on my RB26 was less than 20mins.

Its a piece of cake. Sards need the collars (from memory), so get those and i think you should be fine, 30-40mins for someone that hasnt done it and goes slowly/carefully etc.

I was under the impression they were a direct fit... can any one confirm???

they don't need any collars. nismoid has an obsession with collars. he likes them popped.

if they don't come with new o-rings though I would consider buying some rather than re-use the old ones. you can buy them from nissan, or any fuel injection place. but, once you have changed the injectors the car is not really driveable. it will be overfuelling by about 80% over what it should be. so personally I would just get them installed when you are getting the car tuned.

also, unless your current injectors are running out of flow then don't change them just for the sake of it.

and yes you should be able to get a few bucks for the old pump and old injectors.
